Be mesmerised by the secluded golden sand beaches as you kayak along the Astrolabe Roadstead. Stop for lunch at one of these beaches and enjoy a swim and a short walk to truly appreciate the breath taking scenery surrounding you. Visit the very special Adele Island – a protected bird sanctuary that echoes with the sound of a multitude of native birds and home to the playful and curious NZ fur seal (kekeno). As the afternoon sea breeze builds, conclude your day with by sailing you kayak across the bay back into Mārahau.

What To Bring
What to bring:
Please bring with you a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, swim suit or fast drying clothing (avoid pants or jeans), warm jacket (avoid cotton – wool or fleece is best), change of clothes, towel, walking shoes or walking sandals, any personal medication you may require and of course don’t forget your camera.
